Mold fungus (type of filamentous fungi) can be described as a fuzzy growth on wet / damp / moistured organic material by several types of fibroid fungi. If mold is growing on textile / fabric it is named mildew. Some mold like Aspergillus, Trichoderma, Alternaria, Penicillium, Stachybotrys and Cladosporium are toxic and produce allergens and / or mycotoxins.
